Born 1986 in Italy, lives and works in Berlin. After taking her degree in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts, Daniela Spoto moved to Berlin, where she starts to take part to several exhibitions, and starting many collaborations with independent publications. She use different media like acrylic, graphite, colored pencils, watercolors and digital graphics to shape her visions: Daniela Spoto’s work , moves between semi-innocent little girls and characters of everyday life, that she sometimes mythicize and turn into characters of fairy tales; but this fairy tales are empty of magic ,childhood innocence and happy end, which communicate a sense of unease and insecurity.
